Wow, that sucks. At least there isn't any visible damage, but I would think the suspension would be able to take some abuse. Hopefully all it will need is a good cleaning.

never ever slam the brakes when hydro planing. thats one lesson i learned the hard way a looooong time ago. good luck with the car.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of your wheel bearings are jacked as well-especially if you hit what appears to be a curb in your photo.

VSA was probably trying, but if there's zero traction to be had in the first place it obviously won't work.

Sorry to hear about this, hopefully you can get it fixed and back on the road ASAP.
