wow, that is scary. glad youre ok just goes to show you how unpredictable these cars are wet terrain and with the stock SO-2's

man reading this thread, any new commers would think S2000 isn't safe to drive.

First off, SO2 isn't the best wet season tires but they aren't the worse either. I've driven my S2000 in rain and my SO2 performed fine.

Now I have Blizzak LM22 for the winter and so its been fine.

52MPH I do not believe it.. I have driven my S02's to the wear bars without this problem. 65mph down hwy 5 through
a down pour... my two cents.........

A highway with good drainage and no standing water is completely different than a patch of still water, even only 1/8" deep.

RadeRadak, since your car is a MY00, maybe something is slightly out of whack with your suspension. Have you had a high quality alignment done to go along with your tires?

RadeRadak,

I did the exact same thing (stalled too) on an eight inch of snow. I know the feeling. If the ground is cold and even moist, I get nervous driving. Look to new tires. There are plenty of guys driving an S in Canada. Ask some of them about it!
