Spugen = Rust Prone?

Spugen = Rust Prone?
I have been in an exhaust tug of war since I purchased my car, loud vs soft, dual vs single, and now aluminized vs SS vs Ti?!?!?!
I've done a bit of research with the use of the site's absolutely phenominal search engine which I don't think I'll ever master.
I've read that some owners have encountered rusting, and very prominent rust throughs too, not just spots.
Is this true that Spugen's Aluminized Steel products are proned to rusting? If so, why is there such a LARGE following for the only exhaust company in the market which uses rust proned exhaust? What do the members do when their exhaust falls apart?
I would really like an explanation because I am very confused about one of the only US manufacturers make a part that is prone to rust.

they are rust prone if you live in an area that gets salt in the winters... many of their followers live down south and never deal with real winters so they dont care about the piping....
Still aluminized piping should last at least 2-3 years before rusting out even if exposed to harsh winter elements.

there are good things about the exhaust, you can't leave out the rave of the excellent customer service and the fact that they do look very good and their relatively cheap compared to J's and T1R
