Default Spring spacers

I just picked up my S2000 this past weekend, my question is how would I know if they forgot to remove the spacers....would I be able to see them?

I ask this because when I picked up the car the reminder tag to remove them was still on the shifter..I got wrapped up in the moment and forgot to ask my sales person.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

just turn the wheel and look in the wheel well - youll see them in between the spring coils...back is harder to see - but same concept

If the reminder tag was still on the shifter, chances are the spacers are still on the springs, at least that's how it happened to me. Also if the car rides very stiffly, with seemingly no spring response over bumps, look for those spacers to still be there.

i found just one spacer still left in- but didnt see it with the wheels on the car (must not have looked hard enough). found it when we were painting the brake calipers (wheels off).
use a flashlight and get up as close as you can to the spring-

The car does ride pretty stiff...but have nothing to compare it to, so i dont know how stiff is too stiff.

I guess I have to do some serious checking, thanks for searching

Just checked all 4 wheels. It appears that they are gone although I too noticed that the ride was a bit stiff...perhaps it's just getting used to the ride in this car vs. my previous CRV. The big coils behind each wheel appear to be only coil and nothing in between.
