Sport Compact Car suspension

The stock CR suspension is pretty damn good, but SCC didn't do a good job of keeping anything consistent. Or maybe it was the fault of the owner's of the cars for not bringing a fully stock car? Then again, I guess you can't expect too much from these magazines.

it just shows how good a factory made sports cars is like the cr, evo and sti...cant beat all that manufacture r&d...
i wasnt surprised that buddy club, jic and j's racing didnt do too well but i was impressed with how well the tein did...for a lowend coilover it did pretty good.

What was stunning was that the CR was almost SIX FULL SECONDS faster than stock and beat out just about all the others. People b*tch about the CR not being faster than stock 0-60 but where it counts the CR kicks AZZ!

Hey guys keep in mind that the CR suspension that was tested was on an acutal CR. Honda also redesigned for stiffer bushings, shorter rack ratio, and added aero. Honda had lots of time to engineer the CR. I feel a more fair comparison would have been the CR shock and Springs on a Base model AP2 or AP1. Given the test situation I feel SCC did a amazing job. I know that must have been one hell of a thing to make happen.
I feel they should have used one car to test all the suspensions on. I understand that would have made the one day deal into a month, but given the cars what were in pretty bad shap (torn subframe) and need maintainance It was kinda unfair for some of those big name suspension companies.
I have driven an s2000 setup for club racing with scca on KW III coilovers and It was amazing over my stock ap2.
