SPoon snorkle or Mugen Intake
I was wondering, would these products make your car sound like an AEM INTAKE? Cause the spoon snorkle, is just a snorkle that leads up to the airbox. you can however get the spoon air filter too, but that just replaces the stock airfilter.
and for the mugen one, same thing. it has a snorkle..

My only concern about the AEM/Injen style of intake is the possibility of hydrolock. I've read too many threads about this that its not even worth it for the ~5 whp that it adds. As for the mugen intake, its a beautiful piece. The only drawback is the $$ and also the cutting of the hood if you don't purchase an aftermarket hood with a bulge for the intake. I would personally opt for the spoon snorkel.

Will a Mugen intake work with a Radiator cooling plate similar to what APR has on there website for the spoon snorkel.
The Mugen appears to be wider than the spoon.
How does the Mugen interface with a stock front bumper?
Is it a requirement that you have the Mugen front bumper in place?
If you are using the Mugen with your stock bumper could you post pics of how it looks from the front if you are at the level of the front bumper?
