this video "proves" (if you trust spoon) that using the ap1 ecu with the ap2 f22c to rev up to 8600-ish is safe. billman doesn't need props, but i do so anyways. i can't stress enough to other f22c owners what an improvement the extra rpms are. this deserves a thread of its own.

It's flywheel hp. I don't know why they keep saying in the video that is has so much torque. It's only an extra 35hp and maybe 10-15 tq. Although the car is 500lbs lighter.
Actually if the specs at the beginning of the video are correct, 27. kg-meters is about 196 pound-feet of torque, which is about 34 extra pound-feet of torque over an OEM ap2. That's pretty significant in my book.

The motor was an F20C, so actually the redline was decreased to 8600rpm.

He was talking about how the longer stroke = higher piston speed, and 8500rpm was ideal to keep the piston speed about the same as it was with the shorter stroke at 9000rpm.

I guess I meant the F22C's redline in comparison to the Spoon 2.2 liter engine.
