So basically, they lowered the compression rate, and upped the engine size? o_o someone care to explain ... I'm a noob when it comes to mechanic talk ahaha

hahaha nice. so we got the better end of the deal with 2.2 liters, i dont need the spoon stroker kit >.<. this was a good video.

i'm such a spoon fan.

i love what tsuchia says "because spoon is poor there are no options in this car"

This is exactly how the new s2k should come stock. More horsepower, less weight, still retaining the high rpm redline all without boost. Nice.

Kinda funny im seeing all these ads for spoons in this thread

It's actually higher compression, it says 11.8:1. And all they were saying is they increased the stroke to make the extra .2 liter displacement, which is the same thing honda did with the AP2.

And I believe that is not 275hp at the wheels. If I recall correctly, they had the Spoon S2000 in Turbo magazine awhile back and they said it was flywheel hp.

It's flywheel hp. I don't know why they keep saying in the video that is has so much torque. It's only an extra 35hp and maybe 10-15 tq. Although the car is 500lbs lighter.
