Default Spoon or J's for X-mas ?

I know this has been debated, and debated, but I'm thinking of treating myself this year and am hoping to get it ready for next spring.

Either J's N1 exhaust, or the Spoon N1. Both sounded good but according to my ears, but J's N1 sounded a little higher pitched which is what I'm looking for :-)

However, I'm not ruling out Spoon's due to their good reviews.

So I ask you all once again for your knowledge on the pros and cons, likes, dislikes, of these two great exhausts for our beloved s2000's.

I have had this same problem before too. I chose Spoon because I like the sound better than J's racing. I think both are equally as good. I also like the Spoon better because it doesnt have a huge tip and it also comes with a test pipe

At the moment I don't have either, but I have had this same problem. I decieded to go with the J's, in the future b/c I like the larger tip better.

They are both awfull unless you are at the track 100% of the time. I have the J's and pretty much hate it. As soon as my Mugen gets here I will most likely sell the J's.

At 50mph - 80mph it is damned (damned damned) noisy inside. Try running the interestate up a hill at 70mph..... the blood (from your ears) will be dripping everywhere

but....at the track they do sound awesome!!!

I have not made any decisions as of yet as I'm still trying to figure out which one gives a "higher pitch" sound.
I definitely do not want that "low bellowing growling sound" heard by so many other manufacturers.

But Shaoben's comment about the spoon being deep ? What does that mean ?

If anyone has update sound clips , as all the others are no longer j's site & steveuci's site, it would help in the matter.

Thanks for your time

J's Racing N1 is actually a little lighter than the Spoon N1.
