Did anyone do this? ... i'm planning to replace the OEM clutch kit with Spoon Flywheel and Spoon pressure plate but retaining the OEM disk. will it fit? or do i have to go for the Spoon disk too?

I'm not positive but I think I have this setup right now. A shop did it for me and recommended it and it has been great since 50k til the current 92k miles I'm at now. Someone else will have to comment to make sure.

Yes it fits, been running that way for years. Spoon disk is just a slightly reworked OEM disk anyway.

You definitely want to put on a new OEM disc. That is the CHEAPEST part of the equation. The expensive (or tedious if your doing it yourself) part is the labor, as long as you are getting the labor done, change everything out to ensure it lasts as long as possible.

I have the hardtopguy kit on mine and I love it! Its an ACT pressure plate and an OEM friction disc. It is perfect and is way more clamping power than an N/A s2000 will ever need, and is good for low to moderate boosted setups as well.

The biggest thing is don't buy more clutch than you need, all your going to do is add more stress to the driveline.
