What did Spoon do to the motor? Can anyone elaborate on the specifics?

engine balancing would be one. Not sure if the engine Giampiero was selling had the spoon internals or not. If it did then it would have cams, higher compression pistons, valves, valve springs, baffled oil pan, I think a reworked head, larger tb. And it also comes with different gearing in the tranny. I think I missed a lot of stuff, but basically, Spoon probably threw in everything they have.

the Spoon motor makes ~265hp at the crank. It's a balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly (crank, con rods, pistons) w/ the 12.2 cr lightweight pistons. That's it. My guess is that w/ cams, the high CR gasket, headers, ported heads, and a good valve job, you could see north of 300 crankshaft HP from this motor.

now, _that_ would be cool!
