Thanks for the great replies everyone... especially MulderATO... I think I will be getting the OEM spoiler...can anyone show me pics of other "low profile" spoilers?

Veilside has a group buy on theirs ...no drilling its held in place with 3Ms heavy duty double sided tape. But you got to have it painted.....i'm still trying to decide

I wouldn't trust adhesives, tapes or glues.
The dealer charged me about $125 to install

I wouldn't say the spoiler doesn't do anything at all. I seriously doubt you could extract any downforce out of it, but it might reduce drag by providing a cleaner air separation region behing the car.

For instance, the rear lip spoiler on a BMW M3 adds a negligbile amount of downforce, but it does clean up the flow out back, reducing aerodynamic drag.

Maybe I'll do another aero analysis for you guys to show how it works

I have the same problem right now too, trying to decide to go with OEM wing spoiler, lip spoiler, or no spoiler at all.

I have one sitting in my closet too.. I do like the lip spoiler on our cars with a hardtop but I can do without it with the soft top or top down. Would be great if there's an easy way to detach and reattach it.
