The only thing you did that stopped it from being worse was that you didn't spin out where there was a curb or ditch

well actually i didn't fully spin out i lost control , I knew it was gonna happen but i stopped it from happening, thats what I meant. I prevented myself from hitting the light poles or going down the ditch at the time.
