Speedo Read Out
#1
Last Summer travelling in France I got my stook up to about 136mph, I could only floor it in snatches while my girlfriend snoozed. But at about 133mph the speedo started to go haywire and the numbers were flicking about some on some off, just really bizarre. I havene't had a chance to go that speed since to check it out but has anyonme else had any strange apparitions??

You went so fast you were going back in time
I have not seen any electrical problems with the dash as of yet. (on my car or read about them) Were you going down a particularly bumpy road or was the car vibrating due to road conditions at that speed? I have noticed when there is heavy vibration and I am looking at digital displays it looks like they are jumping around/cutting in and out.
Go look at a digital clock and chew some ice while watching it. See if you get the same effect. I think its your eyes playing tricks on you due to the refresh rate of the LCD display combined with the vibrations.

Thanks Tsu for clearing that up, I'm going to go out now and try to hit 150 and hopefully go so far back in time I can re-gain all my losses on the stockmarket.
But no real vibrations, the French have great roads, I'll just check my eyesight instead.
