I'm lucky, in this respect. Kentucky doesn't give you points for out of state speeding tickets! I'm not sure though what would happen in case of a citation for reckless driving.

It'll go on your record, no free ride just because you're out of state. If that was the case, I'd be doing 100+ mph every time left MA.

65 in a 45...thats not speeding.

My last ticket in my SRT4 was 150 in a 55...now thats speeding.

Partly the reason I got rid of that car...its speed was too tempting at times, which led me to race that Cobra and get the ticket in the first place. At least I won though!

I have a california license and got a speeding ticket in Nevada. Was wondering if i need to take traffic school. Heard if you get a out of state ticket doesn't go on your record/points toward you. Someone tell me if this is true.
The People's Republic of California and Nevada have a reciprocal agreement. If you pay your ticket, Nevada will NOT report to The People's Republic of California DMV. If you do NOT pay that ticket, Nevada WILL report to The People's Republic of California DMV, so that your record will show that you have one moving violation, and the worst part is, if you get into trouble with Nevada police again in the future, they may seize your car and/or arrest you for that ticket.

In short, pay the fine for Nevada ticket is the easy way out of the trouble you are having.

I didnt go to jail or lose my license. In the words of the state trooper who pulled me...the only reason(s) I didnt get the above were because I was honest, courteous and I had a clean driving record; and the fact that the other driver got away.

He actually reduced the speed to 110 on the ticket, which my lawyer got dismissed. I ended up getting charged with only reckless driving, paid $300 in fines/court costs and had my insurance almost double.

Could be worse, but it was fun, I learned my lesson and it will never happen again. Ironic part is, I had just left the dragstrip and already raced the guy in the cobra AT the dragstrip and already killed him. That was my moron moment, but no sense in harping on it.

riced out neons? are you ?

Other than having four doors, they look good to me. Opinions vary I guess.

My account is true though. I guess I could scan the ticket, lawyers letters and documentation from my insurance company for you, but that would be too easy.

I propose that you get caught doing 150 in a 55...be exceptionally honest and courteous to the officer/trooper and let us all know how it turns out. That would be a hands on kinda thing to do and you'll be that much more of a better person for attempting such an incredible feat.

^ technically the officer should of taken you into the slammer for going 150.. even if he dropped it to 110 he should of taken you into the slammer......

you must of done him a favor of the nasty kind....
