You should be able to get any performance shop to install it. It shouldn't be that difficult. I don't know if it will pass inspection in CA, a few have asked but I can't answer that until someone provides me with some emissions level figures. If someone can provide these figures then I can test it here and let you know for sure. FYI, my mechanic said he would charge $600 for the install so that should give you a ballpark.

So it is $6k and some change for the hardware and approx $600 for install. Maybe around $7k total?

Here are the smog inspection numbers:
This is base on my 2000 model
@15MPH
HC(PPM) MAX=89, CO(%) MAX=0.53, NO(PPM) MAX=1011.

@20MPH
HC(PPM) MAX=54, CO(%) MAX=0.51, NO(PPM) MAX=871.

I think these are the numbers, there's also average and measured, but I think the max numbers are the pass/fail test. Correct me if I am wrong. Hope this helps.

s2k408,
Thanks for the info, we'll work on that.

pcovers,
You NEED a V-AFC (about $300) and I would suggest getting a boost gauge, EGT gauge and some sort of boost controller. FYI my two gauges and boost controller ran about $900 for all of them but I used some pricey Greddy stuff.

So, by the time it's done, maybe closer to $8k?
