How necessary is it for me to buy the pre-cut rear panels? I'm already buying the harness for the HU to connect to the rear speakers. Not really trying to be cheap here, but what do I gain by buying the panels from Lucid other than being able to return my car to stock if I want?

How long does it take and how difficult is swapping out the panels, and doing the wiring? Do you have to take any of the dash apart? Or just plug it in somewhere that is halfway easy? I've got a MY2000.

A quick question for anyone currently using Polks (Shank Flanker?) - how do they sound in terms of Bass vs. Treble balance? I prefer more highs in my music, with just enough bass to add richness to the sound. (If the S2000 came with a subwoofer, I'd pay extra to have it removed!)
Do you think the Polks would work for my ears?

Yeah, I actually have to turn the treble down because I have tinnitus (sp?) and it tweaks out my ears. The bass out of these things is pretty remarkable. I am just using the stock head unit and the polks sound great. I'm planning on putting the new pioneer head unit that plays mp3's and wma files. I'm sure that, coupled with the rears is gonna sound bitchin'.
