Should have given it the 250ps engine from the Japanese model, maybe some different wheels, a custom rear spoiler, etc. Then they could produce a couple thousand to spread around to various countries.

its actually a great idea.

give the countries who dont buy them an insentive to actually reconsider. even if they dont get the Special F1, they'll see what the S is all about and might buy one. its genius on their behalf u ask me.

i wouldn't buy one but hey.
wow, what a stupid idea and you can't spell.

I'm not feeling the white pearl color. In the picture you can see that color is nothing like the F1 car.If it was Championship White I'd be drooling. They should have at least threw some BBS's on it or something to make it more special

i agree...even a little carbon fiber here and there would have been welcome...but that wouldn't happen

If it isn't an improvement of performance, who really cares? They can do all the little color changes and signed doors they want, I am not interested.

totally

Nothing "special" about it at all.
They missed a trick here.
With a higher volume and some "desirable" extras they would have made a $$$$ on a car coming to the end of its production life.
Audit did it with the TT - 3.2 Quattro DSG with race seats, bigger engine, paddle shift gearbox
BMW did it with the M3CSL - stripped out, more power, CF panels

Should have given it the 250ps engine from the Japanese model
That engine is a normal F20C with a thinner head gasket and higher octane fuel. Guys in the UK run them and they produce very little extra power than the EU and US F20C on the same fuel.
