It sounds good - but it's a bit of a disappointment.
50 cars going to Germany, France and Italy
Those three countries have bought about 2,500 S's since it was launched so why do they get the special edition?
The Honda F1 team is based 150 miles down the road from me in England. Why are there no RHD ones for the UK?
The colour is an optional colour available in Japan for several years.
Other than the radio door the car is a std 06 car with black/red interior.
Not very "special" then!
Marketing guys - don't you just love them!
(rant off)

its actually a great idea.

give the countries who dont buy them an insentive to actually reconsider. even if they dont get the Special F1, they'll see what the S is all about and might buy one. its genius on their behalf u ask me.

i wouldn't buy one but hey.

i agree on that last thought...but they should have still sent a few in the states....imagine people rippin each other to shreads over the special edition....personally find it very cool and it gives it that exclusive look, but don't need it...prefer to customize it myself and let myself decide what makes it special...the S2K is still a limited production vehicule....that's special enough to me...besides i don't give a f@#k!!!! lol

Usually "special edition" vehicles are designed to eek out the last bit of market share before a significant redesign.

Think 2006 Audi TT "Special Edition" and Porsche Cayenne S "Titanium Edition" and the WRX STi Limited.

The end is near....

They shoulda slapped on a s/c or something...

I cant see paying any extra for an autographed radio door that is easily ripped off. Maybe thats just me though.
