It's your dime. I have 2 vehicles, each with over 100k miles that still have the original wires.

conedodger, Emil is being sarcastic. our cars don't have spark plug wires. so he was being funny by saying he changes them every 10k miles, because there are none to change. it's like saying you need to change out power steering fluid on your S2k.

No, because it'd be dumb to. Generally "spark plug wires" are for looks/rice.
However, our coil pack wires are under the valve cover, so no one can see them anyways.
