I just picked up my 2001 Spa Yellow S2000 today! I live in San Diego and couldn't find a dealer in the area that would give me a good deal(MSRP) so I decided to look outside of the state. I found a dealership in Ohio who was willing to give me the car at MSRP. If anyone here is still looking to find a dealership that is willing to sell at MSRP e-mail me and I'll let you know where I got mine. Last I heard they were going to get a Silver w/ blk interior...I'm not sure if they've already gotten it, but you may want to give them a call.
So far I am loving the car! Now its just a waiting game before I can VTEC...

Thanks! So far theres 2 others that I know of in San Diego. I work at Sony Online Entertainment and there is 2 others here. One belongs to the Office Operations Manager and the other is one of the VP's daily drivers. His other car is some sort of really sweet looking Ferrari...So far theres a Yellow(mine) and Silver and a black here at work and I know at least one other person here is looking to buy one.

Was just playing Sony PS1.. Had to rip it off my kid. I know of at least two other stook in SD. One red and one silver (a lady drives it.)
I'm sure your well informed.. but watch out for your oil (mine ate a quart in the first 2000 miles, and transmission grind or notchy tranny. My car is at Pacific Honda for the theft and having the TSBs done. It seems that they are going to do a major job on the tranny.

I'm sure that now that I actually have one I'll end up seeing more on the road. I remember once seeing a White w/ Red interior (Woman driving) near my work, but haven't ever seen it since then.

To all S2K owners in SD area.
I thought it was only me but hearing from security stores and others, S2K's are being specifically targeted for their seats by professionals.
Be careful and watch out. They obviously know that s2k seats are worth $3.5K each and will not hesitate to rip the top and take them.
