SoS Gauge Pod Users: Restricted Visibility?

'bout $115.
I took the top off and put golfer's lead tape inside and now it's heavier
than a pint of Ben and Jerry's. It shifts like a lead pipe going thru
motor oil! Smooth as butter! I can actually shift the car with my index
finger...it's sort of trippy though and makes my girl nervous.

The SOS pod can "replace" the OEM trim (as I've done) but it can also be simply placed over top of the OEM trim.
Yes, it does obstruct the view a bit but like all the others have said, you get used to it being there very quickly and learn to move your head a bit to see what the pillar is hiding. This is something that I used to do anyway so it's no big deal. I'd rather have it than to not have it. It's a great addtion.
