Sore Losers...

You know, I really don't get some of the chips on people's shoulders.
This morning I was playing a little freeway tag with a Prelude Si (circa early 90's) if you'd call it that. In actuality he was weaving in out of traffic like crazy while I was just driving. Once we got past the Golden Gate bridge I opened the car up and shot past him like he was standing still... it took him about 3 miles to catch up at which time I was just cruising and getting off the freeway. He gets in front of me and we both get into adjacent lanes that are both turning left. He's on the inside and I had a wide outside turn left... they both merge about 100ft after the turn into one lane. I'm kinda in a rush so I'm already thinking of getting in front of him.
Well the light turns green and I hear a squeal from his tires as he tries to get traction to cut the turn and get in front. No clutch drops or anything for me, I smoothly take off and VTEC the first 2 gears. Even before the turn ended and I started to merge I was 3 car lengths in front of him.
As I turn into MacDonald's and he has the nerve to honk at me... not a friendly one but a lay down on the horn sort of deal.
Geez, some people can't lose without grace, it's not like we were racing for pinks or anything!

Nice little story. Oh, he honked. Big bad boy!
My cousin has a stage something 300ZX Turbo. His main competition on the road is the F355. Awesome driver.
Anyways, similar to your situation, two lanes for a left turn. He's got the right, the Mustang SVT's got the left. Mustang wants some, starts to rev. Light turns green. Cousin turns on the sport mode switch. They both gun it... the Z takes off from the outside lane, but even with the disadvantage, right after they finish the turn, he cuts him off and the SVT is sitting pretty on his rear. Too easy.
I've got a great story of my cousin racing a famous athlete up here in Seattle.

...yeah, some people just don't get it. They think that if they are "more pissed off than you" they will go faster. Uh, did they ever take into consideration the slow ass piece of sh_t they maybe driving?
