Default Somethings not quite right here...
Why is there an intercooler in the front of this S, yet the vortech kit has the pipe going straight from the blower to the intake manifold?

That's AHHHVTEC's car. I assume that it's just setup to cool the air before it's compressed.

I always thought It was functional. Fooled me. Now that sounds right, turbo and all.

Look just to the left of the 'cooler - you'll see the fitting with no pipe connected to to. Whatever the owner's future intention, at the time the picture was taken the FMIC is purely cosmetic.
