check your wheel alignment and axle.. I have the same thing with my old probe gt which I don't drive anymore...

This has happened to me.

Contrary to what is the case for most tyres the S2000 standard S02s offer less NOT more grip as they wear.

This is due to the fact that the tyre actualy uses two separate rubber compounds in its construction. A soft compound on the treaded section (for better grip) and a harder compund for the base (for better heat dissipation and less heat build up).

As your tyres wear the compound changes and at the point where the tyres reach their legal wear limit you are pretty much running on this hard cold compound.

Grip is very poor at this point and you will lose the back end easily under moderate to hard acceleration. What you are experiencing is a form of "axle tramp" - before you guys start to flame me I know axle tramp refers to solid rear axles and I am using this as an analogy only - and it is exacerbated by one tyre being les gripy than the other and the LSD not being able to cope with the uneven grip situation.

Change your tyres and I guarantee the problem will disappear.
