Some S2000 Tach Had 10,000 rpm?
I recently got a book "Honda S2000" by Daniel Carney. One of the photos in the book showed a 10,000 rpm on the tach. Just curious, was this how the original year 2000 model looked?
My 2002 S2000 has up to digit "9" tach, and the tach just blinks in "RED" in the above 9,000 zone. I like how the current tach is non-linear, using more space to display rpm above 6,000.
While on the subject, what is the rev limit set at?

You'll also notice that in Carney's book he calls the display "LED" at least twice.
WRONG!!! It's backlit "LCD".
But I won't hold this and a couple other mistatements against him, the book is extremely well done.
