[QUOTE=lovnhonda,Mar 31 2005, 06:59 PM]The first time I was driving into Target and I am driving towards the store in the parking lot kindof cutting across spaces at about 10mph - more than moderate speed.

People DO have an attitude when they see a sports car. Ours stands out and I agree people tend to pull out when they shouldn't to "beat the fast guy" Get upset when you pass them and they are going 5-10 under the speed limit. In general many will assume the you must be an ass for owning this car. Doesn't matter if you 18 or 80. They are just ignorant sterotypers. They have the same attitude as racists. Best thin you can do about it is ignore them.

I am 26 year old and I look like 18 according to many people... I got many people trying to provoke me like a couple of night before on the way home from work, this truck just get on my ass tailing me so i drop to 3rd gear left him in the dust for a good quarter of mile and went back to cruising 75/65. I haven't had people asked me if I bought the car myself or what not but I am sure in the parking lot with my wife there are many people staring at us thinking that question. (my wife is only 22, senior in university) I get a lot of stare but at the same time many hot girls have asked me what kind of car it is and complemented on my car. I guess that justify the hating I get on the road and I guess that's probably why those guys who arent getting any, try to hate us...

I don't see the correlation with your car in those examples you gave.

Seems to me your stroking your own ego......and like pushing buttons every now and then.

1. You bought a car that attracts attention
2. You bought a car that attracts attention and then got Yellow on top of that.

My point.......

Your going to draw attention and it's not all going to be "Nice Car".......sometimes it's going to be "get the F-k out the way"....

Not every cares what you drive, some people just A-holes...

Sorry to hear it bothers you but IMO your taking it too seriously.

I don't seem to have any problem finding inconsiderate and clueless drivers no matter what vehicle I'm in.

This is for SIIK, tkeedy, etc:

You think I was driving like an idiot, am the cockiest bastard in the world, stroking my own ego, and so on and so forth - ok. Fine. Not sure what led you to think this, but ok. Go on ahead thinking these things in your own ignorance of the actual situation. I won't try to convince you otherwise. (I bought yellow w/ 7k miles on it, by the way, because I was able to get a much better deal on it than the new white one I wanted) Again, ignorance of the actual situation. Anyways...I was surprised by what I perceived as quite a bit of unprovoked agressiveness. I thought it might be the car. Maybe not - so I thought I would ask some people who have a lot more time in the car than I do. Wow, it was just a question.

I can relate to this because when I drive pass big windows that I can see my car and myself driving. I get jealous of myself and even said that "You're one lucky Son of a B*tch"

All I can gusess is that everybody in Atlanta thinks they are related to the late Dale Earnhardt and emulate his driving style every time they get on the road. It's a highway free for all everybody for themself.
