This just happened to my friend in his RX-8 - sitting in a parking lot, some woman just started backing up from about 30 yards away - he honked three times and finally tried to move, but whe hit him anyway. Best part was, she did it right in front of a cop!

Still, his car isn't drivable - it sucks. I don't know how you miss a red sports car from 30 yards...

Stupid people shouldn't have kids. or people who don't know how to drive. They have stupid kids who won't know how to drive and the cycle continues.

Whether or not a police department will make an accident report varies by department. An accident occuring on a private lot/property will not be responded to unless there is injuries.

Always get drivers information/ insurance information off of their license and insurance card. Never take their word on their identity/or insurance!

holy crap same thing just happened to me the other day. the 1st floor neighbor that i hate that drives a stupid pilot backed into my 240sx w/ freshly painted bumpers from a month ago. since the bumper on the suv is higher up it pretty much went on top of my bumper and left a line of tiny scratches. it's nothing too major it will prob. buff out but i'm pretty pissed. i'm 99.9% sure it was that a hole b/c i saw the car that was parked in front of me real close. wanted to key the f out of his car but ill just be the bigger man and let it go
