Solution to plastic window haze
I just used "Invisible Glass" cleaner to clean the rear plastic window. To my amazement the builtup haze came of with ease. I coated the whole window and let the stuff foam up for about 5 min then wiped with a cotton towel. The haze was gone with just one coat and no scrubing or rubbing of the window.
Previously I've tried everything I could think of. I was going to try Plexus as some people sugested next, but no need now.

You should be able to get some at your local auto parts store. I got my Stoner Invisible Glass at Pep Boys. It works great on the windows, I hadn't thought to use it on the plastic rear window though. FWIW, Pep Boys will order anything if they don't have it in stock.

It's been a few hours with the car sitting outside and so far there doesn't seem to be any cracking, discoloration, etc. I read the label before trying this and it did say "Safe on any surface" or something to that effect. So that's why I gave it a shot. I think if it was going to damage the plastic in any manner It would have done it by now.

Although I use invisible glass on my windows, I'm going to stick with Plexus for the rear window. There's no telling what the invisble glass could do over time.....not just in a couple of hours!! At over $800 to replace, I don't mind giving the back window a few more rubs with the cloth when using Plexus!
Nothing with the S2000 "........is worth giving a shot". Unless you have a bottomless wallet and can afford to replace everything that might not work out when using an unproven entity, it's worth doing it right the first time
Seb2k....It might be worth using the collective advice that others in the forum graciously provide, rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. Just a suggestion that could save you a lot of money in the long run.
Cheers
