Default Softtop Material

S2000 Enthusiasts,

I've searched and got nothing.

I'm trying to wash my car and was wondering what softtop conditioning agent to use (fabric or vinyl).

So can you please tell me the material of our softtop? Is it cloth, vinyl, or some other materials?

Thanks in advance.

As as I know, it's vinyl. I use Vinylex on mine.

It's vinyl.

Most people use 303 to clean and protect the top.

Last I heard, it's all vinyl. It just looks like canvas...

I know my '02 has a vinyl top, but an anesthesiologist that I work with SWEARS his '00 has a cotton/canvas top.

Could it be that the early years has something other than vinyl?

Too funny, an anesthesiologist "swears" it is cotton/canvas. Suggestion, have him send a specimen to pathology for analysis.

It is vinyl. RaggTopp for vinyl is an excellent product for the S2000 tops. Unless of course, one happens to be an anesthesiologist.
