Both sides. Is this covered under warranty - I hope so. I'm broke from buying the car...

Is there a way to adjust them?. Pass side seems easier to latch than driver side. Maybe pass side getting looser.
In his case, no. If his description is correct, those latches are broken. The springs that hold the button out no longer work.
In your situation, you can Loctite the strikers or get new HD strikers if you don't have them already.

Not knowing the year and age and mileage of your car, it is not possible for any of us to answer this question. If it's still on basic warranty, then there's a good chance. If you are on extended warranty, you'll have to ask the service guy.

I am on my 4rth set and they do not withstand high speeds,, they simply stretch. They need to be redesigned..

Of course - stupid question, sorry.

Was there ever a recall on these latches to help me in my case with the stealerships?

Not on the latches, but there was a TSB for the MY'00 and '01 windshield strikers. They were upgrades to the HD hardtop strikers.

Alright - thanks. I'll see what the stealerships say. I'd rather do them myself, but if it's free under warranty, I'll do that instead.
