Soft top clamps, any adjustment?

The guy changed the soft top right before selling it and he claims the top needs to stretch out and this is why it doesnt close the last inch like my dads S2K... any thoughts on this one?

Get over it, its perfectly normal to doubt half the stuff someone tells you when you're buying their car. I've bought and sold 26 cars in the last 9 years, im used to people telling me "things are supposed to be that way." Im just verifying your claims. I would have assumed from all the damage to the plastic window, that the top is used so I cant see why it would be so tight. Buy price was fair, by the time I fix the headlights, bumpers, exhaust, intake, and get it painted it will be up in the price range with all the problem free 2K's, im not calling you back and giving you hell for a refund, just trying to work the problems out online.
