Damn Haterz!
What is wrong with people these days...they seem to have no respect for one another nor another's prized possession. I say get it fixed and put a sign in the passenger window saying "Don't even think about it, and park your vehicle where you can see it. Hell, get a high powered rifle and sit on the roof of the building and wait for the er!

aw boofukkinhoooo big deal your car got keyed. yeah it sucks and all but there are worse things that coulda happened

my S - someone threw a rock at it and it made a hole in the soft top, ruined the moulding around the soft top and then made a dent in the quarter panel. $3000 damage

my last car - someone jumped on the hood, and it was dented so bad it crushed my fan shroud which jammed my fan that i didnt notice and that caused my car to overheat

your car is pretty btw...

Sure are, but those alarms won't do a damn thing for keying.
It doesn't take long or much effort to run a key down the side of a car in a parking lot.

It's spineless.
well with some alarms now they have alarms on the key pads to so if im in class and someone keys my car the alarm on my key ring will go off and i can go out there and "take care of the problem" we hav camras in the parking lot to so on the camra it would show the person walking by the car and then the alarm goign of so i would know exacly who did it.

were can i get a alarm like that?

That's one of my main concern. I hate public parking, it gets me very paranoid.

Anyway, feel better dude.

Guys, for the last 10 years I've been a mainstay on the Camaro/Firebird and Viper web groups, and I can tell you that those groups almost never get keyed. I can't remember the last time in fact. What is it about the S2000 that attracts this kind of childish garbage? It honestly makes me think twice about buying that '06 S that I have been waiting for. I plan to use it as my daily driver, and can't imagine finding it torn up for no reason.

Can anyone here even explain the purpose for vandalizing a car? I understand why someone would steal my seats, they can sell them and make money. It sucks, but I can at least understand the reasoning. Do they key a car to look tough to their buddies? Do they feel like "I hate rich boys who's mommy and daddy buy them a nice car so I will tear this car up"? I don't get it. It also pisses me off that law enforcement takes such a "who cares" attitude toward this. If there was more aggressive enforcement and severe penalties, then more people would think twice before doing crap like this....But, if I retaliate by severely beating someone down, I get thrown in jail. BS.

Do you guys think it has anything to do with the way he drives around campus??? I mean, being 1 of only 3 S2Ks out of 42000 students at my university, my car pops out like an eye-sore. For this reason, i drive very safely around campus and take extra precaution to not piss people off; since it is very easy to identify our cars. I just can't find validation on anyone being destructive enough to do that without cause. Just a thought.

Its funny how the reconstruction of the biggest student parking will have something positive about it. Makes me semi-glad that our parking lots are so crowded. Each parking lot has at least 3 attendants moving cars around all day so people can get out. They are kind of like a valet service. I althought I do not like other people driving my car, at least I won't be as paranoid about vandelism.
