1 foot long isn't that bad, I've seen much bigger. just go to a body shop and ask around.

One foot or ten feet, I'd still feel just as crappy about the whole thing. The only "good" thing is that it happened on the passenger side and you don't have to look at it every time you drive your car.

Dont claim your insurance..it will raise your rates in the future...find a bodyshop that can correct it and put it aside. Trust me, it could be worse. Good luck.

Won't raise insurance premiums since it is a comprehensive claim. Unless you make them often or have made many in the past, your rate will stay solid. I just got keyed a few months ago...

You could try what once worked for me, get it fixed, get it super detailed as to attract attention, park a buddies car behind yours with a cam corder mounted high, get the video rolling. When they return you have all you need for a conviction.

With all these keying incidents, is it just our car or are other cars get keyed also? Just wondering! I can't see how or why these people deliberately vandalize other people's property?

Sure are, but those alarms won't do a damn thing for keying.
It doesn't take long or much effort to run a key down the side of a car in a parking lot.

It's spineless.
