Default So I'm here in Japan...

I'm stationed out here in Iwa Kuni, Japan for 3 months. Any suggestions on where I should go or what I should get while I'm out here? I'm not sure sure what the big differences in JDM and USDM s2000's are.

Thanks!

V-spec parts such as the steering wheel. It will need some modification to fit the USDM hub though.

J's Racing parts!!! They are super over priced here

Check out some Amuse parts too! The body parts have to be cheaper there than they are here. $5000 for a cf trunk my ass.

I was there in the 60's. Showing my age now. Had a lot of good times in downtown Iwa kuni (the real city) known as RTO. Off limitis then but I got away with it. Supposidly too much Commie influence which I never noticed. Check out Kure a coastal city close to Hiroshima. Also take a boat trip to the other main Island of Shikoku and spend some time in the city of Matsuyama. Ony round eyes I met were two American Catholic Nuns ( twin sisters) who were there through the entire WW11. Even then they had been there so long that they spoke with a Japaneese accent. When I was there every one had a motorcycle. A proverbial sea of bikes up and down main street. Many great memories of Iwa Kuni to this day. Avoid the turist areas and get to see and know the real Japan.
Sorry for the travelog but could'nt resist.
Have fun and wish I could go back someday.

BTW- I didn't know this until after I returned but supposidly across the river in Kentai , there is a small brick house that was used to plan the raid on Pearl Harbor.
