So I run it up to 107 out of the toll-booth... Then I see cherries in my rear-view!

I hit 130mph in the boxster the other night and immediately slowed down eventhough it was 1am and there was no traffic, and what do you know, I'm in the slow lane and I watch a cop get on the freeway right in front of me. I would have been toast!!! Although similar ruexp67 I didn't really learn my lesson either and continued to drive fast for the rest of the way. I never ever drive about 80mph during the day but after midnight its a different story.

Obviously its stupid but if know your limits, people usally dont do shit past their limits, then do what you want.
Im sure everyone on this board has gone 100+ on highways....
Just play safe and dont put anyone else in danger except yourself.

For one thing, two of his tickets were in his pickup so it really has nothing to do with "Its a freaking sports car, you are supposed to push it."

If you pull out of a toll booth, get to 107 and then have to slow down for traffic, you are going too fast for conditions. Everything has a time and a place. The trick is to know where and when. This episode and the other one were obviously at the wrong time in the wrong place. Some self restraint is in order.

Ok, I started this mess, and I am really starting to regret it.

Ralper: I mis-understood your point. Thanks for the clarification.

Strike: I thought it would make a funny story. I admit that the conversation took a turn I did not expect. My fault completely. Immature, you were not there.

Forgettable: I think that's the best idea I've heard today.
