Default So I just came back from a drive....

60F, top down, a nice curvy road @ 5:30am and didnt sleep at all last night.


Is this what I should be looking forward to in the future?

Well, that's depends.
Come next January ....................................
-35, hardtop on, roads covered with 12" of snow, @9am, sleep like a baby.
And oddly enough, I'm sorta looking forward to it.

That was the "selling point" for me.

I've been a night-shift guy for the past 2.5 years. Taking an '02 Miata SE up to Whistler Mountain (2hrs each way of extremely twisty mountainous road) and back for no good reason at all, leaving here at 1am and arriving back at 7am, top-down the whole time, having the sun come up = "wow, this is what a roadster is all about"

What a great ski resort!
Been there half a dozen times (but not with the S ). Absolutely beautiful country. Love the sea to sky hwy.
