Not real bad, but enough to make me want to !

Gouge above center of tire, also bent underneath.

Whole fender is about 1/4" lower now, there is a "dimple" on the door, and the fender is depressed about 1/4" so the door won't open.

Another shot of the dimple and depressed fender.

Gouge above tire, also notice the small "fold" 2/3 of the way through the curve of the fender in this shot (right where the shadow starts).

I'd guess $800 to $1500.

The driver of the car parked next to me at work just wasn't being careful enough when they backed out. They cut the wheel too sharp and kept backing up. When I found the car the other driver was gone, no note or anything. It turns out that the guy actually had the decency to call our security people and tell them about it this morning though. At least now it'll be his insurance paying for it instead of mine.

I had something similar happen to me (Thought it wasn't an s2000).

I was heading in a parking lot and someone backed right into me. It hit my wheel and the part right above, just like yours on your wheel well. The guy who hit me was an illegal from Mexico, could barley speak english. I told him I was going to call the cops because he didn't have insurance. I ended up reporting it and the insurance company gave me $850 ($0 deductable for uninsured motorist). I promptly took that $850 and bought a new computer. 1 1/2 years later, I got it fixed for $250.

It matters if it's just plastic or metal below that dent. Mine was metal so it cost a little more to fix. I got a few quotes for $900, but my car dealer had his own body shop, and it was really cheap to fix.

If you're leasing your vehicle, in Indiana I belive your required to have uninsured motorist on your coverage. I guess I was lucky, I made $600 off of it

Had practice at this?

The quote to repair the fender and door skin was just under $900. To replace both of them instead of fixing the damage was right at $1500.
