This oil loss is part of the reason(but not the main one) why racing engines are mostly dry sumped. They will go through a lot of oil during a race and need a fairly large tank.

For oil starvation due to cornering forces, etc., most would simply use an accumulator, like the Accusump, which sholves the problems at a lower cost, but doesn't get the old oil pan out of the way.
