Six year old S2000
According to the sticker on the driver's side door frame, my S2000 was manufactured in 6/99, so it is now six years old. I did not, however, purchase it until November, 1999.
Its current mileage is slightly more than 54,000 miles.

2. Most Honda dealers did not actually have an S2000 in stock, and they had a waiting list for whenever one came in.
3. I was lucky to get one at all, and mine has a low serial number (and a plastic rear window) as well.
4. I still rarely see one like mine, and I have no regrets at all.

1. Most frequent cause of "check-engine" light going on is a loose gas cap.
2. Where I live, there is no "self-service" gas.
3. Tightening the gas cap will not turn the light off.
4. The "check engine" light is different from the "maintenance required" light.
5. $40 = 1/2 hour labor.

All you need is an OBD II Sensor... it takes 30 seconds to plug it in and reset. You got jipped.
