Still trying to decide on buying the 04 bumper or buying the OEM 03 lip for my Sebring. Do not really like the OEM lip for the 04s so it would not be with the lip.

04 bumper w/ no lip

00-03 w/ OEM lip

Only other exterior mods would be OEM hardtop, side strakes, and possibly 04 headlights down the road. Factory wheels, not lowered, or anything like that.

I voted for the 03 w/lip, but i think that if you planned on putting a lip on the 04 later on the 04 would be the way to go......

Definitely 04 with lip would be my first choice. I can't get over how awesome that combo looks.

Beyond that, stick to an '03 with a lip.

Seems split 50/50...

Honestly... If you upgrade the bumper to an 04' and try to sell it... People will think you are trying to cover up an accident and lower your resale value... You will also have to change the headlights if you really want that 04' look.

Unless you also plan on doing the MY04+ rear bumper as well, stick with the MY03 front bumper and lip.

i definately don't understand the 04 conversion fad. I don't think anything changed on the 04 looks as good as earlier models. I still like it, just not as much. I sure I don't have to tell you which way i voted...

Thanks for the opinions. This was one of my main concerns. Did not want to try and explain why I had a new bumper on the car. I think I am going to just go with the lip.

It's all opinion based, Most people, myself included, think the 04 bumper looks better. Making our cars look better with OEM quality and fitment parts is not a fad, more like smart investments.
