Silverstone Metallic vs. Sebring Silver Metallic
Hello all. I am new here and just discovered the S2000 as a car I must have. I test drove one last week and was very impressed. It is the best sportcar I have ever driven and I loved the high revving engine and exhaust note. It handled like a dream and it fit me like a glove. I can see why everyone is fanatical about this car.
I have heard that Silverstone Metallic will be availalbe again in MY '03. Is it much different from Sebring Silver Metallic and is it worth the wait for this color? Also which dealer in Southeastern or Southcentral PA has been the best to deal with for below MSRP pricing and S2000 availiblitly. Thanks!

Silverstone is a darker color, almost a metallic grey, not a silver. I think it looks great and it would have been my first choice had it been available in 2002. So, I got Sebring Silver and I'm happy with it, as well. I doubt I will consider trading in if Silverstone does make a comeback, unless Honda makes a number of other enhancements to the car (doubtful).

I was going to buy an S2000 in '01 and get the Silverstone. Ended up waiting 1 year and in '02 got the Sebring Silver.
IMHO, I think the Sebring Silver is a more"beautiful" color that makes the car look breathtaking, especially in the summer driving down the beach. The Silverstone does look a lot more bad@ss though, especially if you are not going to leave the car stock.

I think this picture shows the difference quite nicely:
Color is SO subjective, I won't bother going into which is better. Only you can decide that. Having said that, I absolutely LOVE Sebring Silver.

but, from a practial standpoint, i prefer my silverstone - it always looks the same - neither dirty nor clean.
i'm not that good at taking of care of the exterior of my cars, so the silverstone works well for me (i wash my car 10 times a year)
