I heated up my side emblems with the hair dryer and used floss to get them off...they came off like a charm but that damn adhesive is still on there, alot of it. I tried Goo Gone and a tar/bug removal spray but no good...
Should I heat it up then try to get it off? im not sure, but i dont wanna drive around like this lol...

You had a problem. Then you figured out a solution. But your keeping the solution a secret? I guess we'll have to speculate how you fixed it.
I vote that you must have poured gasoline on your car and lit a match. That would do it.

No, actually its not easy. The side emblem adhesive is very difficult to remove. But, as you said, some 3M stuff and a lot of elbow grease should take care of it.

To get the stuff off, i just heated it with a blowdryer and used my thumb to roll it off as best I could, it was tough and I got a blister, but you gotta do what u gotta do lol. Only because at the time I didnt have any 3M or other stuff. I just got off as much as I could, then I went over to a friends house and he had some spray cleaner/polish stuff (like 3M) that worked wonders. Sry its vague, but it was a pain in the ass =D

Its not that hard at all actually! When I performed it on mine, I first picked as much of it off as possible. Then spray ample amount of goo gone and let it sit, it will peel off later like a banana! REMEMBER to wax the area that you sprayed the goo gone on. That stuff is a grease cutter and it will strip all wax off like it is no tomarrow!
