Only if it's brand new. People are getting better deals but you'd have to ship the car to save the money. Actually by the time you shipped it you wouldn't be saving all that much anyways. Good luck.

The deals not great, but not bad either. (I don't know prices in California)

I guess for me it would depend on how impatient I was vs. the color.

2003 should be about the same price plus better color selection.

2003 bragging rights

I think that's the going rate for a new S2000 here in So. Cal.
However, with the '03's out soon the price and desirability of an '02 drops very quickly!
I would see what you can line up for an '03 before making that decision.

By the way, I'm assuming a cash deal with no trade-in, no lease and no financing. If you have either of those, it gets very murky!!

Be patient!

MSRP is $32,860 Its a good deal if you live there in CA but if you have to get it shipped its not worth it. Saving only $400.00

The car has 20 miles on it, so it has been out for test drives, does this matter?

Snowdon,

I picked mine up in L.A. for that price with the front and rear spoiler package thrown in. Same color combo. I'd say that you can probably beat that price if you're not getting the same package as me.
