Thumbs up Should I sell my s2000? Help!

I can't decide if I should sell my sk2 and downgrade to a 240 (plan to do a sylvia conversion). For now it is listed for sale, but I might take the listing down.

Any thoughts? ??

Do you plan on drifting?
Do you just want to be faster? If so, why do you need to be faster?
Can you not afford the S2000? (not trying to be a dick, but you're comparing to a cheaper car)
Do you not enjoy driving top down?
Have you test driven an SR20 240sx and found you like it better?

Well, considering I've personally owned an S13 (91 coupe) with an S14 SR20DET & an 89' hatch with CA18DET, I can say they are great cars. Very fun and exciting, especially when modifying them heavily. They can produce some insane power and the blocks are outstanding. The only problem I had was that it's hard to find an SR20 which has not taken a beating and is in good shape; but that's very difficult to tell because you never know how they were treated back in Japan. Anyway, I also disliked having such an old car; things always falling apart and just really got annoying. Not to mention I am starting to see more and more kids getting SR's these days, it's really getting popular.

my previous car was an s14, i babied that thing, it is a nice car but it is no s2k, i didn't drop and sr20 in it and it was still a nice car.

Personally I wouldn't do it, you have an amazing car with very low miles that looks beautiful especially the black w/ red interior is very hard to get and the only combination i was looking for when i bought mine.

the s2k is just soo much more sexier and fun to drive.

I sold my s14 last year w/ 86k miles for $8300. yah i got $2k above kbb because s14 were soo in demand last year.

No.

I got rid of my s2k back in December and got an SLK 55 AMG and after the novelty and speedlust wore off about a week later, I regretted it. I am now back in the market for an S.

I wouldn't give mine up if I didn't have to.

If I had the time, money, and place for a 240 I would own it over an s2000. I dont personally like convertables, and you can get 240s in coupes and hatchbacks whereas you have to add a hard to an s2k. Also, they are lighter, able to make more power more reiably, and completely customizable. Also, I like 80s and early 90s japanese car style, I dont knwo why, I just do :-).

My guess is, if you have to ask, you should sell it.

Personally, you will have to pry the keys from my dead cold hands in order to make me part with my S. Either that or hand me the keys to a Ferrari!
