Should I Sell My S2000?????? Give Me A Few Good Reasons
#11
Sell it!. Some people just need to get a new car every so often. Sounds to me you are one of those people. Nothing wrong with that, just the way it is for some people.
Not that I would consider selling but i checked out the G35 coupe on Sat.... sweeeettttt.

i like this borad cuz all good ppl here, no like some other forms that always think " we are driving the best car "
which car is the best all depends on personal needs, and if u are not into the S mood anymore and yes u should get something new to make u feel more comfortable . GL man

I have been in other boards and yes, some of them think like that.
So, on second though Gemini: Don't sell it. Just buy another one. Keep the S for when you feel like enjoying a day in the sun and hanging (albeit virtually) with some pretty cool people!

It really depends on the reasons you bought your car in the first place, GeminiS2. If those reasons are still valid (for example, handling, style, reliability, etc), then you may be dissapointed if you get something else. If some things have changed (i.e. the car has been damaged, needs repair, or has been abused), then a new car may make sense. Whether you buy another S or something different depends on the things you like in a car, such as the reasons you bought it in the first place. Some people just like a change. Change is good, but remember you lose all the great things you get with an S when you sell it. If you really like a back seat or a big trunk, then that's a different story.
And from a practical point, change is expensive. In general, the longer you keep a car, the less expensive the car is (per mile driven and per year). And you'll be hard pressed to find a car with this much horsepower that gets better gas mileage.
Personally, I think you should keep it!!

I like to change my car every now and then, so far, I've never driven any car more than 36,000ml before I sold it. Nothing was wrong with the cars I used to have, I just wanna change, try a new stuff, etc. So many good car to buy on the market today, if you can't have 'em all, sell and buy is only way to go.
I don't know that this is related or not, but I'm also a Gemini, I got bored of things easily. Let us know what you get!

A few good reasons:
We want you on the board.
It is a classic. In time it will be revered like the Porsche 356 or the '54 Corvette.
It does very well exactly what it was supposed to do.
Trading every few years is very expensive. I find I appreciate my cars most after I pass the 10 year mark.
The original S2000 is an engineering tour de force. The longer it stays in the Honda line, the more influence the marketing people will have.
You like it.

PM me your photo?

What happens if you lose your job, you can't make payments, and you owe more than what the S is worth?
Do you just take out another loan for the difference?
I may be in that situation in a month
