Default Should I put a GT-Spoiler on my car????

I am thinking about to put a GT-spoiler on my car....becasue i think it looks very cool...
But i also had read many threads about the bad stuffs about GT-Spoiler....
For example: Some ppl said GT-Wing is "shit"...and it just incease the weight for the car...etc....
Is that ture??? Is there any good quality GT-Wing recommed instead of the J's or C-West(Too expensive).
Moreover, please give me advices that should I put a Gt-Wing or just leave it OEM...THX!!!

like S2Crazy said, "its your car, so do whatcha want." Imo GT-spoilers look horrible on s2000's. But as long as you like it, thats all that matters.

I 'd say NO unless you plan to turn it into a true circuit racer. Otherwise, just for street use, I will just look out of place

Most people here will tell you a GT-wing is fugly. I somewhat agree with them, but the wings look great on a well tuned car that is tracked once in a while. RICE, in my opinion, is when something is added with no appropriate function, such as my front lip() and my clear diffusers(), and GT-wings on Civics. If you look at the Japanese tuner cars, FWD cars rarely use GT wings, but FR cars need GT wings. Generally rice boys are the ones that follow the USDM import scene, not the JDM people.

Well-designed GT-wings make a huge difference on the track.

How about get the Mugen wing for track and switch back to OEM for street? They use the same mounting holes.

Aesthetics is a subjective call. IMHO, a GT-wing on a S2000 makes it look like a wannabe extra on 2Fast2Furious. However, a GT-wing does generate downforce at speed beneficial to high speed roadcourse sweepers. The S2000, even fully stock, is a pretty capable track machine and has higher limits than the vast majority of its drivers can exploit. So before justifying a GT-wing for track use, spend the money and time to build up driving skills.

WOW!! that GP kit looks perfect
jacky....i saw your car , IMO a GT wing on a car with just a lip will look out of place
unlike if you get a c-west kit , then the spoiler will accually look good!
in the end its up to you
