That is not an old Si. IT'S THE EP3 Civic Type R! The FN2 CTR (the one shown on the video) is not a highly praised Type R. They were only offered in the European market. Kind of the ugly step-child of the Type R's. So, you're right, they did screw up with that model. Almost 16 grand in upgrades and save 3k on the premium CR charge for a whopping increase in value of $19,000.
That represents almost 70% of the value of the entire car.

The extent of Ruprecht's argument is that Honda is fleecing CR customers because the CR seats are supposedly $5,500 cheaper than the base leather seats.
