Which should I buy, 2003 or 2004??
I can buy a brand new 2004 S2000 for $29,995 or a brand new leftover 2003 for $25,500. Which is the better deal and are the 2004 cars worth the extra $$ for the few changes that were made??

IMO that's a no brainer....get the 03.
For the price difference you could have a top of the line TV, a used motorcycle, a supercharger, a Mugen Carbon Fiber hardtop...the list goes on and on.

Boy, now you've done it The classic B4 '04 vs. '04.
There are those that dislike the '04 'cause it don't go to 9k, and some don't like it 'cause the suspension was changed. There are those, like me, that prefer the increased HP & torque the '04 offers along with a host of minor improvements.
See the write up here '04 S2k. For my money the improvements answer some of the problems with the earlier models. An example is the differential. Quite a few owners have replaced the rear end in their S's because they fail under hard use - hopefully the beefed up rear end in the '04 solves most, if not all, future complaints.
Then theres the old addage "Money talks & walks (or is it the other way around). You'll get a great '03 for a substantial discount. That's hard to pass up. It's a real tough call. No matter what you decide your going to have a on your face for as long as you have the S to drive.
Good luck,
Erik

So far I've gotten to drive a MY02 and a MY04. I really liked the MY04 but a brand new MY03 for just over 25k? I'd have a hard time passing that up. You've quoted very good pricing on both cars.
It's up to you now! You can't go wrong either way.
Let us know what you decide.

So me being a value shopper I think it's a no-brainer....25,500 for a MY03 new. That's a great deal....you can do alot for the extra 4500. I'm amazed that they are giving that good of a deal...they best I've heard was around $27000. Unless you have a specific love for something about the MY04 get the new MY03. It's the better value at that price..

One question. How many miles are on the MY03? They've obviously had it for a while. It would be interesting to know how many miles it's been test driven.
