If you want to mod the car, you'd might as well get a regular s2k, the mods you are going to do won't help by having a CR. It'd probably save you some cash to use a base s2k.

Since I love modding cars so much I think best choice for me is the base S2K instead of getting the CR and messing it up thank you tho

A lot of track guys love 17x9 +63 all around with 255s

It depends on what you want in terms of track/looks. You have stated two opposite positions (hellaflush vs. track/fun car)

If you want hellaflush, then the original offsets you posted are fine but good luck doing any kind of tracking like that...

If you want a track car then 17x9+63 all around is one good option you have many others depending if you like staggered handling characteristics or square

If you want in between so you will sacrifice some track ability for some looks then you could go with wheels that are flush but that you can run wider tires with just a little or no camber. Popular sizes are 8 +45 and 9+45 front and back or +50. I've run 9+55 all around with 235s in front and 255s in rear with a little camber and no rolled fenders (could've done less camber if I had the fenders rolled)

Hope this helps

Here actually I'll show you a few setups I ran. All were pretty low with -1.5 degrees of camber in front and -2.5 in rear. No rolled fenders/relocated tab which would have made it so I could use less camber. Also, I cut my fender liner so I wouldn't rub on that in front.

Work XSA 02C
18x8 +55 225s in front
18x9 +65 265s in rear

When slammed like in these pics I would rub a little on big dips in the rear with the 265s but just barely.

SSR GT7's
18x9 +55 all around (235s in front they were AD07s and 255s in rear toyo T1rs)

Rubbed a bit in front so I raised it a little

Rays Sebring Mesh
18x8 +47 same tires as the Tein Flexs (235)
18x9 +43 (255)

Rubbed the most, had to raise it about half an inch to not get much rubbing. Still got a little.

Seems like you have a good idea of what you want.

I got rid of my G35 and I am planning on getting an S2000. It was 6MT as well but after test driving multiple S2ks, i fell in love with the S2000 and knew I had to get rid of the G35. I never tracked my G35 because of the poor quality and "boat-ish" feel of the car. After owning a supra prior to that, I had to get back into autox and track. The s2000 just feels more in tune with what i want and my overall goals, likes/dislikes as a car enthusiast. While I don't have an s2000 yet, I can say that I have no regrets about getting rid of my g35.

Lovin' those SSR GT7's, Mar48!!! Wonder if they make them in 17's and how much they weigh???

Here's my 17x9 +45 all around setup. Running 235/265 Starspecs(Car was still settling when this pic was taken so the front is a little higher than it is now.)

NO BRAINER really. Go buy the S2k and i garuntee you wont ever look back. I know where you stand bro~
You just said yourself you LOVED the s2k and LIKED most of the cars you owned including the g35. Which means you are looking for excitement over practicallity. Might as well be now then when your older and have kids. that is unless your already married and in dire need of a bigger car, but im guessing thats not the case.
If you want to LIVE your life, buying the s2k should be your first step! hahahaha Lame I know.. but its true!!

Asking if you should trade in your G35 for a S2K if you have the means... well you might as well ask yourself if you should take this girl home with you if you had the opportunity.

If you really have to ask... you're doing it wrong.
